Explosion at Fukushima vid We are not sure if it is the reactor or another building but 1015 micro sieverts per hour recorded at time of explosion - about the same amount as the human limit for one year (NHK).

Thanks B! I shall (stay safe!) They have extended the evac area to 20 k now, so that to me indicates it is more serious now. *hugs you too*

I'm watching the news footage & it's all just so terrible. It's heart-breaking.

Staggering damage - that tsunami just whooshed in so fast and washed away whole villages. Now they are saying it's defnitely a meltdown scenario too.
