Good day today. I dragged myself off to the gym (walked) and swam my usual 1k. Lucky me! I had the whole pool to myself, so no battling ojii sans (old men) on my course up and down the lanes. We have to share lanes here ... one lane is two-way and I've been in some collisions in my time *g* Then I walked back and dropped into the coffee shop where I did away with all that "health stuff" and downed a "drowned in cream" Vienna coffee accompanied by rare cheesecake. Started reading Dreams of Speaking by Gail Jones.



I got home and put up the Christmas tree ... red apples and baubles, pine cones ... oh! and the tropical fish - Mustn't forget them! Lucky! I just made the 12 days before Christmas deadline.

BTW ... w00t according to Merriam Webster is the American word of the year ... I like that one *g* Global Language Monitor produced a different set of winners. "Hybrid" took top honours as word of the year with "climate change" the top phrase. I wonder what the kanji of the year will be this year ... not long to wait - should come in December some time. Probably something hopelessly optimistic *snerk*, but then maybe not.

Made a new icon - I've been so lazy lately and haven't been happy with anything I've made. But feel free to snag this larger base and make icons if you like. No credit necessary, but comments are much appreciated.
