Well I love PS CS2, especially in combo with my new laser mouse. It's all so much easier. But well, that's just an excuse to get these two boys closer together, which is always so much fun. Of course, it's a bonus when they look like they're about to fondle each other's arse *g*.

Actually I do the portrait work and initial line art by hand , with pencils and then scan it in. In P'Shop I can fiddle to my heart's content-because I can always "undo" if I don't like it! The tablet has a stylus which is pressure sensitive, so although I can set, say the opacity of an airbrush, it will also respond to my hand pressure too. Once you get used to it, it's *much* more sensitive than a mouse to draw with. The tablet also has controls on it which means that I can just tap the stylus to get a key function without having to move to the keyboard. I just look at the screen and a marker shows where the "brush" de jour is. I did the "Blood moon Sheppard" that way, using almost entirely various pressures of black against the white background. Hee.
And thoroughly enjoyable it was too, even if the nude ref was'nt JF!
Okay?

The tablet and stylus sound like great tools for art/line illustration etc! Thanks for that. I'm interested in what tech other people use.
