Rodney's given John a ring, John's surprised, flabbergasted in fact and explaining to Rodney that they really don't need rings to prove their love and what would the military think if they turned up wearing identical rings!
Thank you! You're most welcome. I loved John's look of shock and bereft-ness in that scene. He was clearly struggling to be the stand up friend, when I think all he wanted to do was weep. *g* At least that what I saw through my slash goggles!
That's pretty much what I saw as well. *g* The way he just wouldn't look at Rodney straight in the face said so much to me. (meaning when he was looking at the ring, cuz he knows he wanted to cry and ask why it wasn't for him!)
It only took me a couple of days, lol, but I have one prototype icon (which I am using) and the larger unfinished picture is at my LJ, if you are interested. I'm going to do one from Rodney's P.O.V. as well. Thanks so much for the pictures!
